Indian Summer Festival - 24th Annual event, Milwaukee, WI. Sept 10, 11, 12, 2010 - Images and HD Video Images shown with an Arrow symbol at the middle of the Picture are HDTV Videos.

The Indian Summer Festival is a lakefront celebration of Native Americans in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The 24th annual festival is being held Friday – Sunday, September 10, 11,12, 2010. This year's theme is 'Honoring Our Warriors,' a special tribute to the men and women who serve and protect our country including veterans, activmilitary personnel, first responders and law enforcement. The weekend includes a special program on the evening of 9/11. Indian Summer celebrates the culture of Native Americans The Pow-Wow is one of the biggest events at the festival and will be taking place throughout the three day festival. The festival is both entertaining and educational, making it a terrific family-friendly event. The salute to the military will be evident throughout the three-day festivities September 10-12, at Henry Maier Festival Park, on Milwaukee’s lakefront. A number of activities and entertainment are planned. On Saturday, September 11, there will be a veterans parade at 3:00 pm. The parade will feature an Air Force flyover, military vehicles, troops and bands, as well as veterans, first responders and law enforcement personnel. On Saturday evening there will be a special program planned for 9/11. Pow Wow. A traditional Pow Wow will incorporate dances and songs honoring veterans,and the Indian Summer exhibit entitled, “Wall of Honor” will also be open to the viewing public. In addition, fireworks displays are planned for both Friday and Saturday nights beginning with a torch-lit canoe procession.

HDTV video clips generally are stacked at the beginning of the gallery of images, except for a few still-images that were brought forward. In the event your computer has a slower Video Monitor, use the iPOD resolution for better results. At the top of the video clip you will notice resolution choices. If you have a modern-fast video card, the High Definition clips are for you. Depending on your internet connection speed, download times will be approximately 15 seconds for a 60 second clip, for a typical Comcast 6Mb/s connection. The longest clip is 8 minutes. The clips are also down-loadable as are the still-images for your viewing pleasure. Enjoy this exciting event.

VIEWING Notes. These Galleries generally defalut to a screen that has 9-12 images to the left side of the screen, with a single large image at the right side of the screen. Please note that you may change the STYLE button above, by left-clicking onto it and selecting JOURNAL for example which will provide the viewer a very different array of images, 10 large images that the viewer can scroll down one by one, whith little clicking; then moving to the next panel of 10 large images, by clickiing onto the NEXT> button. There are a total of 4 STYLES to choose from, including SLIDESHOW where each image is projected onto the screen, in full screen mode every 3 seconds... Experiment and choose the Style best for your viewing pleasure.
