Air & Sea SHow - Fort Lauderdale, FL May, 2006
Read MoreThese two Blue Angels are flying at each other at 550 mph. That computes to 1100 mph relative to these Jet. I am "panning" left to right following Jet #5; at the instant that I noticed the nose of the #6 Jet I captured the moment. Pretty lucky this time. I've been to all of the shows for the past 5 years and have not been able to pair-them like this shot. The camera was set to A-priority at F7.0 with ISO 320, so the resultant shutter speed was 1/3200 per second to "freeze" as best as possible yet giving depth of field to capture both Jets.
