Crystal Ahmed and Rachel Brockman each recorded double-doubles while Jade Williams led the Fighting Knights with 16 points. Lynn drops to 14-4 overall and 5-2 in the Sunshine State Conference. The Blue and White offense stalled in the early part of the game as Nova Southeastern (13-5, 6-1 SSC) jumped out to an opening 12-4 lead. The Fighting Knights converted on two of their first four shots but watched the next seven attempts clank off the rim. A three-pointer by Liz Roth helped LU get out of its funk and start a 12-0 run to go ahead 16-12. Christine Haber put the Sharks back up, 19-18, starting a succession of baskets from each squad. Roth regained the lead for Lynn, converting on two free-throws, and Brockman sent the Knights into the locker room up 26-21 with a lay-up in the waning moments of the half. A three-pointer by Williams at the start of the period increased the lead to eight but a 13-2 run by NSU, highlighted by three baskets from beyond the arc, gave the Sharks the lead. Both teams battled for points over the next four minutes with Brockman scoring two of her 11 points to put LU back up, 43-41, with shots from the charity stripe. The seventh and final tie of the half came with 8:12 left in the game on an Ahmed lay-up. The junior guard finished with 14 points and a career-high 14 rebounds. NSU steadily increased its lead and finally pulled away with 2:46 remaining when Stephanie Sarosi drained two free-throws. Lynn attempted to stop the clock with fouls but Nova Southeastern went 10-of-14 from the free-throw line down the stretch to seal the deal. NSU was 19-of-27 (70.4%) at the line overall while LU was a paltry 9-for-20 (45%). For the game, the Sharks shot 38.6% from the field and the Knights hit 32.8%. This marks the first time Lynn has lost a game when leading at the half. Brockman picked up her eighth double-double of the season and Ahmed her sixth.

Nova would ride the sharp-shooting of Coenraad to another double-digit lead but a Jones three-pointer cut the Sharks lead to only six with just under four minutes to play.
